We’ve always believed in the positive benefits of movement on both the body and the mind. It’s why we were founded in 1949, and it’s why we’re called ASICS: Anima Sana In Corpore Sano or a Sound Mind in a Sound Body.
 

Our founder, Kihachiro Onitsuka, had the ambition to use movement to uplift people after the war in Japan. He saw that movement had the power to lift spirits, project positivity, and propel people and whole communities forward. And more than 70 years on, we still believe that movement frees the mind and, by doing so, helps people feel better.
 

That’s why we continue to design and develop superior products to support more people to move for body and for mind.
